Troubleshooting

What to check when something goes wrong

Separate media access, interrupted copying, and report delivery issues, and prepare useful support details.

A drive or media is missing

Check that macOS can see the device and that power and cable connections are intact. Check the app’s folder access permissions and whether original files or parent folders were moved.

Do not repeatedly disconnect a device while a job is running. Source cards used by Clone Sync or protected by a paused session are restricted from other features and ejection. If a lock notice appears, check the running, paused, or cancellation state in the job list first.

Copying or verification stopped

Identify the destination and job stage where the error occurred and record its exact text. Check free space and connections, then follow the app’s resume or retry guidance.

Distinguish completed destinations from failed ones and retain the source until the required results are confirmed. Do not format devices or arbitrarily delete existing output to investigate the issue.

A report was not delivered

First check whether the local report was generated. Failure to create a file and failure to deliver a created file require different checks.

If a local file exists, open it and inspect the contents, then check the connections and settings required for external delivery. Delivery failure alone does not mean the original copy job failed.

Contact support

Use the chat button on the page to contact support. This website does not automatically collect local files or app diagnostics, so prepare the information below yourself.

Include only the necessary parts of screenshots and logs. Hide account passwords, license keys, unpublished client material, and other sensitive information.
