Media workflow
Hand off reports and editing files
Organize copy records and review notes into the deliverables you need.
This is sample content. The product version and actual workflow will be reviewed before publication.
Decide what to deliver
Choose the output for the task: a Clone Sync report to explain copying results, or a Marker & Tag PDF to collect reviewed scenes. Check the scope of an MHL before sharing its file and hash information.
- The project and cards the recipient needs to check
- Copy and verification results and exceptions for each destination
- Clips, frames, and notes to review
- Drives and folder paths containing the original data
Open the generated files
Open saved PDFs or images and confirm the project, filenames, and key results. Do not describe work outside the report’s scope as completed.
Check file generation and external delivery separately. If only delivery failed, preserve the local output and check the delivery method.
Check a sample in the editing app
Choose the app you will actually use in NLE export, and review warnings and unsupported fields. Do not assume identical behavior across all app versions, codecs, and timebases.
Import a short sample and check media links, clip positions, and important markers before delivering the full set. The final compatibility scope must be established using verified guidance for the release version.
