Remember file locations with Offlog
Browse recorded file and folder lists after disconnecting a drive.
This is sample content. The product version and actual workflow will be reviewed before publication.
What Offlog stores
Offlog saves a snapshot of metadata such as filenames, folder paths, sizes, and timestamps on external drives. Use it to browse the list recorded at that time after disconnecting the drive.
It is not a backup of video or image content, recovery data, or checksums. To play, copy, or recover offline files, you need the drive that holds the actual data.
Capture a snapshot
Connect the external drive and confirm the volume to record. Snapshot capture is blocked on source cards protected by Clone Sync while preparing to start, running, or paused. Check the job status and access permission before starting a manual snapshot in the app.
After completion, check the recording time and file and folder list. Confirm that the snapshot you need actually exists instead of assuming automatic recording occurred.
Find the drive you need
Search by part of a filename or path, then check the drive and snapshot date of the result. Files moved or deleted after the snapshot may differ from the recorded state.
Connect that drive and check the path again before continuing work on the actual file. When comparing snapshots, distinguish list changes from changes to file contents.
